...while i fall off the face of the planet for a while. I'm working on redecorating my room, just started camp training, trying to buy a car, unpacking suitcases that never go away, dying a little bit on the inside everyday, and hoping to not get into a fight with my new roommates-I mean my parents. I'll be back when things cool off a bit... until then, kissessssss. |

I've been enjoying a little time off since Saturday, and I will continue to do so for the next couple weeks while in Uruguay. I know, I know, you'll miss me... but hold tough, I'll be back June 7th (which, for you Marinites, will be my official Celina's-back-in-town-forever-indefinitely day, so we'll celebrate then, too) Kisses

This is it! Lesson #0, the end, there are no more lessons, no more days in Syracuse, no more college, no more of this magical experience in my life. Thank you to all of you who have touched my heart, and who will stay in my life for as long as we keep in touch via Facebook or Skype. Thank you Syracuse, for enriching my life in so many ways (minus the frigid temperatures). And thus begins the new leg of my journey, as I move back home and start my "adult" life. With all my love, Celina |

Lesson #1: Have fun everyday.
Word on the street says these college years are the best of you life. While I hope this isn't the case, and that everything only keeps getting better, it's critical to enjoy these days to the fullest. If there's no other lesson I leave you with from my time here at SU, it's for you make the best effort everyday to have fun with yourself and those you love. |

Lesson #2: Be a friend.
My father once told me, "to have friends you have to be one." Great advice. Here's the deal--like the golden rule, you must treat others the way you want to be treated. College is an excellent opportunity for that. You're taken out of your comfort zone and thrown into a crazy lifestyle with strangers; friendships are bound to form. The trick is to nurture those that matter to you, and to make sure that no matter how many miles separate you, you maintain contact. The friends made in college will carry on for the rest of your life if you do it right. |
