Today's article in the UK's Sunday Mirror tells the story of 13-year-old Charlotte Stidolph, the second victim of henna tattoos this month. She suffered horrific allergic reactions after receiving the henna tattoo on holiday at a street stall in Crete, and is now permanently scarred with this Playboy bunny (which in itself is tragic enough).

Now, if she had just waited until she was 18 to get a real tattoo (which hopefully wouldn't be this bunny...), she could avoid all this trouble. I may be completely biased, but go for real ink, people!

My week? Well, I have the usual readings for class, and then (lucky me) two exams and two essays due on Wednesday! Then, as if that weren't enough, I have a profile due on Thursday! Oh, and I nearly forgot, I told my friend that I would write a magazine article for her on-campus publication for Wednesday! To top it all off, I had a horrendous night, and am nowhere near productive because of my broken heart. Quel dommage!

I'm not much of a political person, but I can't deny my complete adoration of Barack Obama. When this man speaks, I melt; he is eloquent and knowledgeable, and has charisma for days. Obama knows what he's talking about-and it shows. If you've been living under a rock this past year and haven't had an opportunity to watch this man speak, watch this video where he discusses race and politics. It's amazing.
